Real Madrid to open Them Park in Dubai

Los Blancos president Florentino Perez will disclose the details of the project at a press conference which will be attended by a number of the club’s star players.

Real Madrid will on Thursday announce plans to open their own theme park in United Arab Emirates.

Its construction will be officially confirmed at a press conference at the Santiago Bernabeu, which is expected to be attended by club president Florentino Perez and a representative of Ras Al Khaimah’s government, as well as several members of Los Blancos’ first-team squad.

The theme park will be the main attraction on the planned ‘Real Madrid Resort Island’, a project which the club have been working on for the past six months in the strictest secrecy.

The Liga giants have already gone public, though, with their intention to build a theme park in Valdebebas, which is located to the north east of the Spanish capital.

As part of Perez’s ambitions plans for the club, the Madrid president has also given the go-ahead for the Santiago Bernabeu to be given a facelift which will result in the exterior of the stadium being given ‘a skin’ akin to the one which is wrapped around Bayern Munich’s Allianz Arena.
