Cars 3 & Dunkirk

Watch the trailer

It was good that I’ve been invited recently to watch some films in Grand Cinema and KNCC, I’m very selective to what to watch in theaters, that is due to two main reasons, 1) censorship and 2) people.

beginning of July I got an invitation to Cars 3. I haven’t watched part 1 and 2 but my son did and loved them so it was good to take him to see the third part.

I myself work in a theater and speaking out of an experience, I genuinely like Grand Cinema, I feel they are more and properly maintained theaters and their projectors are in top condition compared to other theaters and usually, they are my first choice.

Of course, my son liked the film. If you haven’t seen any of the first parts, it’s about an underdog speeder that with hard work and friendship become a winner.

In part 3, when this speeder become in some sense too old to race, it changed his goals and purpose from winning races to helping others winning the race, it’s the natural transactions of life. It was a good film at a good theater. Thanks, Grand Cinema.

Watch the trailer

Well, it’s Dunkirk and Christopher Nolen in IMAX so you are about to watch something great, and it was.

There has been a lot of fuss about Dunkirk for a very long time not just because it’s another film but because it got the triangle of success, story, director, and the best projection system.

You get into the theater waiting for something like “Saving Private Rayan” but it’s totally different film, it’s still a war film, a survival kind of war film.

A very intense kind of film. The Germans are far more superior to the French army, and Britain’s want to salvage what left from their troopers for the fight in UK. What can the Royal Navy and air force do?

Dunkirk is the kind of movie you watch at theaters because you don’t want to miss on the amazing sound effects, it was well designed and a major factor to enjoy the film, watching the film at home won’t be the same.

I enjoyed the film very much, it was one of the top films I’ve watched this year so far.

Thank you KNCC for the invitation.

IMDB Storyline: Evacuation of Allied soldiers from Belgium, the British Empire, and France, who were cut off and surrounded by the German army from the beaches and harbor of Dunkirk, France, between May 26- June 04, 1940, during Battle of France in World War II. Written by Harvey

One Response to “Cars 3 & Dunkirk”

  1. I had watched Cars, 1,2 and 3. For me part one and three were the best as story strength, part 2 wan’t as good and it did not add depth ( in my opinion in the story ) as Cars 3 did.
