Can or bottle?

Just on the other night when I suppose to finish on a paper before the due date which was in less than 10 hours, Instead of working on that, I was bugged by which taste better drinks in cans or bottle? And why they taste differently? It was my brain trying to bailout from working on the paper.

Well, in short for the above question. Drinks in glass bottles taste better, as for plastic bottles and cans they should taste the same and the only be different in the amount of gases they leak. [ Manufacturers dissolve the same volume of carbon dioxide into their plastic- and aluminum-bound products, but polyethylene terephthalate plastic is somewhat more CO2-permeable than aluminum. That means the fizz will leak out of a plastic bottle of Coke at a higher rate than it would from a can.]

To have the best and richest flavor you need to drink from glass bottle, because there won’t be any chemical reaction between the soda and the bottle.

But it’s a different when it comes to plastic bottles and cans. With time the soda in plastic bottle will react and change some of its characteristics, nothing serious but it will change how it taste, same as with cans, but you would ask cans are made of aluminum, true but they are but they are coated with plastic (or something simller) from inside and will give the same effect that happens with plastic bottles. The only different is in bottles the gases will leak, and in cans they won’t. []

Of course, they way shelf and store drinks have a big factor, temperature and sunlight can have a significant effect.

So, there you have it, know what to drink and how to drink it the next time you have a drink 🙂 ..
